Why do i need to quit Facebook?
When I get stuck in traffic, the first thing i do is log into Facebook. When i open my macbook the first thing i do i signing into Facebook. Facebook had become a habit where i will log on when i wake up, "like", send birthday wishes, log off, get ready to work, log on while having breakfast, scroll through the newsfeed, like! like ! like! log out. Then log on again when i get stuck in traffic on my way to work, log off. The pattern repeats during my lunch, on my way back home and also dinner and before heading to bed. Consciously or unconsciously my mind has started to compare my life with others. I personally felt like all my friends are having wonderful time and i am living a boring life. The grass is always greener on the other side . I realised that, i don't really "connect" with my friends when i log into Facebook. I have realised that Facebook does not make me happy. I took a pen and wrote down why i should quit Facebook. Here are the reasons.
Lowers down self-esteem
- Facebook makes you to compare yourself with your friends. For instance, when a girl gets a Louis Vuitton handbag and she posts the picture of it in Facebook, or goes for a trip with her partner to Krabi or Maldives while you are sitting in the room all alone after long day of work. You will compare your life with your Facebook friends. That will demotivate you and you might even feel like a loser when your friends post to many cool pictures are your posts are not as cool as them.
Time Killer
- Being on Facebook and scrolling down through the news feed kills to much of our time and we don't even realise the time we actually spend looking at other people's life events.
Not all your "friends" are not real friends
-Try to look at the number of friends you have on Facebook. How many of them are really good friends? How many of them will talk to you when they see you in person? Even though there are some people who are genuinely friends with you in Facebook. There will be always some "friends" who add you to see your moments of your life.
Waiting for people to "like" you
-There are people who upload pictures and then wait to get "like" on Facebook. When they don't get enough likes, they feel bad. They feel insecure. You should understand that the "likes" are not real likes. Facebook "likes" is not an indicator to show how beautiful / popular you are.

So, I have got only 69 days for my summer break.
I need to work hard to become a better 'Me'.
I need to eat clean food.
No more Kinder Buenos, Snickers & Ice-creams.
I have got no excuses to skip my workouts.
I will go to gym everyday.
I will eat healthy foods everyday.
I will become fit by May.
It's a promise to myself.

Perfect Guy
He is not perfect.
You aren't either, and
the two of you will never be perfect.
But if he can make you laugh at least one,
causes you to think twice.
and if he admits to being human
and making mistakes,
hold on to him
and give him the most you can.
He isn't going to quote poetry,
he is not thinking about you every moment,
but he will give you a part of him
that he knows you could break.
Don't hurt him.
Don't change him.
And don't expect more than he can give.
Don't analyze.
Smile when he makes you happy.
Yell when he makes you mad,
and miss him when he is not there.
Love hard when there is love to be had.
Because perfect guys don't exist.
But there's always one guy that is perfect for you.
A woman should...
- A woman should have that one particular friend who knows all her secrets, who makes fun of her and at the same time, hold her while she cries.
- A woman should have a huge handbag that you will find almost everything you need, in it.
- A woman should have at least one signature dish that no one makes it better, other than she does.
- A woman should have that one dress with gorgeous heels that she has been saving for that special date.
- A woman should own her own car, house or any other property that is under her name.
- A woman should have her own savings, even if she marries the richest guy on planet earth.
- A woman should have a set of makeup, not because she is not already beautiful but because every silverware needs to be polished every once in a while.
- A woman should not be afraid to say ‘No’ when it is needed.
- A woman should know how to break someones heart in the kindest way possible.
- A woman should have limits. That includes while having cakes, ice-creams, and french fries.
- A woman should know how to point out a friend’s mistake without ruining the friendship.
- A woman should know how to fall in love, without losing herself.
- A woman must speak of words that encourages others, rather than words that could tear someone down.
- A woman should know how to give a flying kick to everyone who tries to get their hands under her blouse, without permission.
- A woman should never leave her friends behind, when she has found a lover.
- A woman should have a past where she has made hundreds of mistakes and still be proud of it. A past that is worth re-telling.
- A woman has every right to cry and cry her heart out when she feels like it. Don’t stop her.
- A woman should know how to pick up the pieces of her broken heart and still find the will to forgive.
- A woman should have that one song, that will be played on her wedding, a song that she listens to when she is sad, a song that she will sing, when one asks her too.
- A woman should believe, that no matter what size she is in, she will always look good!
- A woman should always have a Jump Start in her car, and learn how to use it.
- A woman should have that one romance novel that she will read over and over again.
- A woman should have a heart strong enough to withstand the judgmental comments, yet soft enough to care for a new-born baby.
- A woman should have a mind that dares her to dream big and achieve it.
- A woman should know how to live alone, even though she doesn’t like it.
- A woman must have an undying spirit to take her through the roughest night and still put on a smile the next day.
- A woman must believe, that does not need anyone to make her happy. She is responsible for how she feels.
- A woman is a woman, when knows she is beautiful because there is no one like her in this whole world.
- A woman should know how to change a car tyre, even though she might have the upper body strength of a kitten.
- A woman should know who to trust, who not to and why.
